Did you know that, as a homeowner, you could be saving valuable fuel dollars by installing ENERGY STAR energy efficient heating products? Not only can you save fuel, but you can also reduce air pollution at the same time. So, the next time you are replacing your house's heating system or building a new house look for heating products that display the ENERGY STAR logo. So what makes a boiler an ENERGY STAR product? Well first, the efficiency (how much useful energy is produced by an appliance compared to the amount of energy it consumes) of the product needs to be determined. Then, if the product is 85% efficient or above, it can proudly wear the ENERGY STAR logo. The following Burnham products are ENERGY STAR certified.

Alpine - Gas Fired Condensing Boiler

CHG - Gas Fired Condensing Boiler

Revolution - gas

SCG & PVG - Sealed Combustion Gas Boiler & Power Vent Gas Boiler

MPO - oil

MegaSteam - Oil Fired Steam Boiler
Designed to be an efficient replacement boiler in a steam system, the MegaSteam offers an impressive 86% efficiency rating. It features a cast iron block with a new three-pass design which forces flue gases through the heat exchanger three times. This enables the MegaSteam to extract heat in the most efficient means possible while still delivering a high volume of steam to the system.

V8H Series - oil
The Burnham V8H Series residential oil boilers define versatility. Available in a size and configuration that is right for your home, the V8's cast iron sections along with a vertical flue design, extract maximum heat while minimizing draft losses. The oil-fired V8 is up to 86.3% efficient and has nine configurations in five sizes that qualify for the program.

LE/LEDV - oil
The oil-fired LE Series steel boiler offers optimal heating performance in a low mass, compact unit for today's modern hydronic systems. With the ability to heat up and cool down quickly, the LE Series provides complete home comfort without wasting fuel oil. The LE Series is available in natural or direct vent models.
