MPO Oil Boiler

Answering the call for a more efficient American made oil boiler, Burnham’s MPO has an efficiency advantage other boilers just can’t match. Built with a three pass design and an innovative cast iron section design, the MPO is 87% AFUE Energy Star® certified. In fact, the MPO is one of the only high efficiency oil boilers to maintain its efficiency level as the sections increase.

And while its efficiency rating sets it apart from the rest, the MPO is quickly being recognized for two features close to every contractor’s heart – easy installation and serviceability. With a reversible full swing door and a unique configuration, the entire block can be cleaned and vacuumed without removing the flue pipe. The MPO is available for both natural draft and direct vent applications.

Jeff Hutnick of Callahan Air Conditioning in Massachusetts looks at the design as a win-win. “The best thing about the MPO is the serviceability,” says Hutnick. “The design allows for a thorough cleaning in about half the time to takes to clean others. That’s a big savings for me and my customers.”

For contractor Dave Wood of LudLow Heating and Cooling in New Jersey, simplicity is a big factor. “I am pleased with the design of the MPO,” says Wood. “From the cast iron door in the front to the removable back panel to the Beckett Burner, the design and components are simple but smart.”

As the leader in the hydronics industry, Burnham boilers are in more homes than any other boiler. While our product line has expanded over the years, the commitment to quality never changed. With a state-of-the-art foundry in Zanesville, Ohio, and four manufacturing facilities in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, Burnham employs more than 400 people.

Contractors interested in the MPO should contact their local Burnham Representative. And homeowners should contact their local heating contractor.
